본 연구는 신체개념과 그에 따른 여러가지 신체관련소비태도 및 행동의도의 관계를 검증하였다. 연구 1은 신체존중감이 신체조작성과 신체관련 소비태도의 매개역할을 하는지 검증하였다. 연구 2에서는 신체지향성에 따라 신체관련소비태도에서 차이가 있는지 검증 하였고, 연구 3은 신체관련소비태도가 신체관련소비행동의도에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 신체지각 소재가 두 관계를 조절하는지를 검증하였다. 10대에서 50대까지의 남녀 707명 의 자료를 분석한 결과, 신체존중감의 하위변인인 외모존중감이 신체조작성과 외모관련 소비태도에 대한 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 건강존중감은 신체조작성과 건강관련 소비태도에 대한 관계를 매개하는 타당한 변인이 아니었다. 신체지향성에서는 외모 지향성이 높을수록 신체관련소비태도가 전반적으로 높은 것으로 나타났고, 신체지각 소재의 경우 신체관련소비태도와 신체관련소비행동의도의 관계를 조절하는 변인으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점 및 향후 연구방향을 논의하였다.
Alternative Abstract
This study is investigated about the body-concept,its following relationship with the various body relative consumption attitudes and the body relative consumption behavior intentions.Study 1 is verified how the body-esteem mediate the beliefs about voluntary operation of body and the body relative consumption attitude.Study 2 is proved difference of the body relative consumption attitude according to the relative importance of body. Last study is investigated that whether the locus of body perception control moderate relationship between the body relative consumption attitude and the body relative consumption behavior intention.Analysing of 707 data thatis from teenagers to fifties of men and women, appearance-esteem, subscale of body-esteem, mediate relationship between the beliefs about voluntary operation of body and the apparence relative consumption attitude. But health-esteem is not the valid variable that mediate relationship between the beliefs about voluntary operation of body and the health relativeconsumption attitude.In the relative importance of body,there is the higher frequency of the relative importance of appearance,the higher frequency of body relative consumption attitude. In case of the locus of body perception,it is a variable that controls relationship between the body relative consumption attitude and the body relative consumption behavior intention.
Finally,I discuss about suggestions and limits of this research and further study.
