We report a strategy for forming an arylated quaternary carbon center based on an allylation reaction to form a quaternary stereogenic center stereoselectively. The primary strategy involves introducing Allyl via Lewis Acid into Diol, a readily accessible compound, to generate a Quaternary Carbon center. This strategy is a reasonable synthetic method for efficiently constructing a quaternary stereogenic center in tertiary alcohol, where the introduction of substituents is difficult due to steric hindrance.
