Abstract
Researchers of SAR image applications use SNAP, SARscape, or Gamma software for processing SAR images. However, commercial software doesn't provide level-0 raw data processing and the cost of usage is expensive. In this paper, we propose the method for Sentinel-1 level-0 raw data processing. The method is composed of satellite data parsing, decoding, Sentinel-1 mode analyzing, and focusing algorithm. Our method can extract a swath number before focusing algorithm. Thus, there is advantageous in terms of processing time reduction using swath alignment. As a results of data analysis and program development, we synthesize single look complex image. Although the image should be enhanced the resolution, we expect that the proposed method is a valuable engineering guideline for researchers to process SAR images.
