Current Opinion in Biotechnology (COBIOT) publishes authoritative, comprehensive, and systematic reviews. COBIOT helps specialists keep up to date with a clear and readable synthesis on current advances cell biology. Expert authors annotate the most interesting papers from the expanding volume of information published today, saving valuable time and giving the reader insight on areas of importance. Current Opinion in Biotechnology is part of the Current Opinion and Research (CO+RE) suite of journals and is a companion to the new primary research, open access journal, Current Research in Biotechnology (CRBIOT). CO+RE journals leverage the Current Opinion legacy—of editorial excellence, high-impact, and global reach—to ensure they are a widely read resource that is integral to scientists’ workflow. Current Opinion in Biotechnology is divided into themed sections, each of which is reviewed once a year.
