dc.description.abstractThis study determined the necessity to verify the safety of hydrogen-related facilities and selected a hydrogen refueling station located in an urban area where general citizens have relatively high access to hydrogen. To perform a quantitative risk assessment, the Hy-KoRAM and SAFETI programs were used to verify safety. Additionally, the acceptability of societal risk was compared using the F-N Curve. The comparison results showed that the societal risk assessment provided more conservative values in Hy-KoRAM than in SAFETI. Therefore, it is concluded that the Hy-KoRAM program is suitable for the domestic environment and can be reasonably used for the risk assessment of hydrogen refueling stations. However, further risk assessment studies of hydrogen refueling stations in other regions need to be conducted subsequently.-
