삶에 주목하였다. 이혼여성들의 생애전환시기에 연극단 활동을 통한 학습경험과 일상에서의 의미와 변화를 젠더관점과 성인교육학 관점에서 탐색하였다. 이혼의 경험과 여성들의 내면세계의 심층적 탐구를 위하여 질적 연구방법과 연구 참여자들의 여성으로의 삶, 이혼, 연극단 활동 등의 경험을 분절시키지 않고 이야기 형식으로 구성함으로써 보다 생생하게 연구 참여자들의 경험을 구성할 수 있는 서술과 탐색을 위해 내러티브 연구방법을 채택하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 첫째, 연극단에 입단한 이혼여성들의 삶의 맥락은 무엇인가, 둘째, 이혼여성들은 연극단 활동을 통하여 어떠한 학습을 경험하는가, 셋째, 연극단에서의 활동과 공연 이후, 이혼여성들의 일상에서의 삶의 의미와 변화는 어떠한가, 라는 3가지 연구문제를 설정하였다. 또한 이혼이라는 생애사건 이후 여성으로 삶을 살아가는 연구 참여자들의 연극단 활동을 통한 학습경험과 변화를 알아보기 위해 본 연구에서는 아마추어 이혼여성 연극단 ‘새날에’에 연극 단원 5명을 선정하였다. 9개월 동안 참여관찰, 그룹인터뷰, 심층면접을 통해 5명의 연구 참여자들의 학습경험과 의미에 관한 생생하고, 풍부한 이야기를 내러티브 방식으로 구성하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 참여자들은 이혼을 통해 충격과 좌절, 자신감 상실을 경험하였으며, 삶의 주체가 아닌 역할로 살아 온 자신의 존재와 마주하며, 정체성에 대한 혼란을 경험하였다. 연구 참여자들의 삶의 맥락 속에서 연극 활동을 하는 ‘유의미한 타자’를 발견할 수 있었다. 유의미한 타자에 의한 연극 관련 활동으로의 초대는 예술의 장르에 대한 미학적 끌림과 호기심을 주었으며, 연극은 자유와 자기표현의 예술로서 공통적 매력을 느꼈다. 이혼여성 연극단 ‘새날에’ 는 동질성 집단으로서, 학습경험의 선택지로 마음의 장벽을 낮추어 진입에 유리함을 제공하였으며, 이혼으로 소외를 경험한 참여자들은 연극단이라는 공동체를 통해, 혼자가 아닌 서로 위안과 치유의 공동체를 기대하였다. 이렇게 이혼여성들의 삶의 맥락 속에서 존재의 허무와 정체성을 찾고자 했으며, 유의미한 타자의 연극의 활동과 초대에 기인하여 이혼이라는 생애사건에서 삶의 전환점을 연극단이라는 학습의 선택지라는 것을 통하여 ‘나다움’을 찾아가는 여정을 시작하고 있었다. 둘째, 연극단 활동인 연극연습과 공연을 통하여 연구 참여자들은 새로운 학습을 경험하였다. 연구 참여자들의 학습은 ‘경험의 개방’으로 시작하였으며, 각양각색의 삶의 결을 가진 이혼여성들은 하나의 예술 작품의 완성이라는 공동의 목표를 이루기 위해 연극 연습의 과정을 반복적으로 해 나가며 그들은 공동의 경험 공유를 하였다. 이렇게 타인과의 의사소통, 상호작용, 갈등, 조율, 토론을 해 나가면서 공동학습경험을 하였다. 또한 갈등에서의 문제해결을 통한 학습경험은 독특한 여성들만의 학습문화를 만들어 나가고 있었다. 대표적으로 ‘작품선정 문화’, ‘기다림의 문화’, ‘단짝 문화’, ‘자매애 문화’가 있다. 여타 연극단에서는 쉽게 볼 수 없는, 리더와 연출, 단장들의 특권인 연극작품의 선정을 연극단 단원이 함께 하는 ‘작품선정 문화’가 있다. 이곳은 서로의 아픔을 아는 동질성집단으로 연극단의 서열을 나누지 않고, 먼저 들어 온 사람이 새로운 단원이 익숙해 질 때까지 기다려 주는 것을 원칙으로 하며, 먼저 들어 온 사람이 양보하는 것을 미덕으로 하는 ‘기다림의 문화’가 있다. 그리고 1년 간 언제나 한 편이 되어 힘든 고비를 넘길 수 있게 해주는 ‘단짝문화’는 특히, 초보 단원들에게 끝까지 함께 갈 수 있는 지원군이 되어주었다. 이혼이라는 아픔을 잊고 언제나 서로 위로와 지지하는 응원자의 모습을 약속하는 ‘자매애 문화’를 통해서 이질적인 구성원들을 서로 결합시키고 공동의 목표를 향해 서로 간의 학습을 격려하는 모습을 나타내었다. 연극은 협동의 예술이며 공동학습의 장으로, ‘참여’와 ‘함께’라는 구성원들 간의 지속적인 상호작용을 통해 서로 간의 신뢰 형성과 관계 맺음으로 표현되고 있었다. 이러한 ’새날에‘ 연극단 활동을 통한 학습경험은 성인들이 하나의 공동체에 참여하는 과정에서 쌍방향적인 의사소통과 함께 서로 간의 인격적인 신뢰를 기반 한 함께하기 학습의 모습으로 여성 친밀성이 기반 된 공동체 속에서 정서공유를 통한 지지와 위안을 제공하며, 서로 결합시키고 공동의 목표를 향해 서로 간의 학습을 격려하며 학습공동체의 모습을 나타내었다. 연극단 활동을 통한 타인과의 경험을 공유는, 서로의 아픔을 봉합하며, 엉킨 매듭을 다시 풀어나갔다. 연구 참여자들은 결혼생활에서 역할에 의존하는 삶에 집중하였다. 이혼 이후 ‘새날에’ 연극단을 통한 공동학습경험으로 자신에게 집중하고 성찰하는 과정을 거치면서 하나의 인간으로서 주체적인 존재로 자리매김 하고 있었다. 자신의 인생의 새로운 매듭을 서로 상호작용하며, 의사소통을 통해 이혼과 삶에 대한 긍정적 인식의 저변을 넓혀 가면서, ‘새날에’ 연극단의 공동체 의미와 가치를 제3의 가족으로 공유해 나가고 있다. 이렇게 주변인의 모습에서 함께의 다이나믹스 활동을 통해 이제 더 이상 혼자가 아님을 제공하며, 이들은 동화되어가면서 서로 끈끈하게 접목되어 하나가 되어가며, 함께하기의 과정에서 너를 통해서, 그리고 우리를 통해 스스로를 돌아보며, 삶을 반추하고, 반성하며, 성찰하는 학습경험을 하였다. 이는 자신의 삶을 추스르고 생애전환의 과정에서 자신의 정체성과 삶의 의미를 찾아나가면 긍정적인 치환의 학습을 경험하고 있었다. 셋째, ‘새날에’ 연극단의 공연 이후 연구 참여자들에게 이혼은 자신의 존재의 가치와 의미를 긍정적으로 찾아가는 계기를 마련한 생애사건으로 환치되었다. 연극 공연의 경험은 작품의 완성이라는 성공의 카타르시스와 함께 해냈다는 공동의 성취를 제공하였다. 그리고 이러한 연극단 활동 경험은 연구 참여자들이 일상의 생활에서 자신감을 가지고 자아와 정체성을 찾으면 주체성을 가지고 자신의 삶을 영위하는데 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 참여자들은 자신의 정체성 찾기, 삶의 의미들에 대한 재발견을 통해, 이혼이 더 이상 숨겨야 할 낙인이 아니라는 것을 깨닫게 되었다. 또한 각자의 삶에서 역할이 아닌 진정한 정체성으로 나다움을 찾고, 스스로의 삶을 디자인하고, 자기결정권을 발휘하고 있었다. 결론적으로 이혼여성으로 구성된 ‘새날에’ 연극단 경험을 통해 5명의 연구 참여자들은 이혼의 사건으로 아픔과 상실, 역할로서 살아 온 삶과 마주함, 자기 정체성에 대한 의문과 혼란, 나 없는 삶을 사는 나를 만나는 경험을 하였다. 유의미한 타자의 연극 활동은 예술의 미학적 끌림과 이혼이라는 동질성집단으로 구성된 연극단은 새로운 삶의 전환과정에서 중년여성들의 삶의 의미와 나다움을 찾기 위한 여정의 학습경험의 선택지로의 모티브가 되었다. 연구 참여자들이 속한 ‘새날에’ 연극단은 공연이라는 공동목표를 위하여 연극단은 협동의 예술로써 연극을 반복적으로 연습하며, 공동경험을 구성해나는 과정으로 일원이 되어가는 과정을 통해 공조학습의 특성을 나타내었으며, 여성의 특성을 기반 한 그들만의 독특한 학습문화를 만들어내었다. 인간의 이해를 기반 한 연극을 함께 배우고, 어우러져 하나의 작품으로 공연하였던, 예술 활동은 단지, 여성과 남성, 성의 개념을 넘어 하나의 인격으로서 삶에 의미를 성찰하고 있었다. 이러한 학습경험은 나 와 너, learning Experience in the process of participating in an acting troupe Back, Jung-Sun Department of Education Graduate School of Ajou University This study was interested in learning from the experience of transition in the life of middle-aged women who have experienced the life incident of divorce. This study saw a theatrical activities as chief of learning. In addition, changes in the meaning and experience of learning a drama theatre of participants through activities and daily life through subsequent learning experience was to explore perspectives in adult education in the context of a gender perspective and life. This study adopted the narrative research method for exploring the lives of the divorced women who have experienced drama theatre activities. Three research questions were posed; 1) what was the context of the lives of divorced women joined a drama theatre, 2) how had the divorced women experienced learning through a drama theatre activities, and 3) how had the divorced women changed their life since participation in a drama theatre. For narrative descriptions, this study selected the five middle-aged women who had taken part in the drama theater, called “Saenalae”, and conducted in-depth interview about their learning experiences. The results of this study are as follows. First, the participants had shocked and frustrated with loss of confidence through a divorce experience before joining to the drama theater. However, through the drama theatre activities, they started to recognize their identities as human beings and women. Also, the context of the lives of the learning experience in the drama theatre activities brought them a common ground, called "significant other.“ They were invited to the theater-related activity. And this activities gave the curiosity and aesthetic attraction to the genre of art. They felt that common attraction to drama as an art of freedom and self-expression. The homogeneous group who had experienced alienation from divorce changed their lowers the barriers of the mind as a combined learning experience no longer feel a sense of belonging in the community, not alone, the motif of another hope this space of healing. Second, the start of the learning experience through the drama theatre activities began to "open experience.“ Although experience the history of the of divorce and female common life, divorced women with the grain of life of various kinds was a common experience in the process of going to the theater practice repeatedly in order to achieve a common objective of the completion of a work of art share, and interact with others , and discuss the collaborative learning experience. The drama as an art of collaboration in the field of collaborative learning through continuous interaction between the members of 'participation' and 'together' were being expressed in establishing trust and relationships between them. This could be described as adults with one showing the face of it based on personal trust between each other, with interactive communication in the process of participating in a community learning. Support and comfort to the divorced women through the women's intimacy were based on a shared sentiment in the community, and showed the form that bond with each other and encourage each other's learning toward a common goal. This gave the impetus to continue to participate in the learning experience for finding meaning and identity as the owner of life. Replacing the pain of divorce was to be a positive learning experience. In addition, the learning experience through problem solving and conflict resolution contributed to creating a unique culture of learning for them. divorced women who took part in the drama theatre activities. Typically, ‘selection of work culture,’ ‘culture of waiting,’ ‘pal culture,' and ’cultural sisterhood’ were found. Third, through the performance of the drama theatre, they could find the value and meaning of their existence positively. Experience to complete one piece of theatrical performances gave the confidence to find their own identity, through the rediscovery of the meaning of life, and realize that the divorce was no longer figures in their life. In conclusion, through a drama theatre experience, the research participants experienced the emptiness of his existence living on the role through a divorce, and started learning about his identity. The drama theatre activities provided them with journey to find themselves. Adult pedagogical implications of this study are as follows. First, the research participants who had experienced divorce appealed to the negative feelings and perceptions. However, they fond their identity through life 's journey , not me -ness as a role and experience learning in choices of plays. It was a positive displacement pain. This implies that the methodology of drama can be a way of mass adult eduction. Second, it was confirmed again the importance of collective learning. Adult education will take place in all areas of life and not be made only within the established education in schools, in particular. It was taking place in the general field of art, such as learning to play everyday. This study is very valuable learning that is receptive to the identity socio-cultural gender. Thus, cross of the beyond in femininity, this study looked at the true meaning of the learning experience in both the genre of drama and adult education perspectives. Third, this study is significant providing a narrative standpoint of understanding the learning experience the transformation of the lives of middle-aged women who have experienced divorce life events .Through a divorce experience, and experience the emptiness, pain, and confusion of the existence of life, the middle-aged divorce women started to recognize their self-awareness of identity. This implies that the experience a positive learning self-determination and identity of the transitional period can provide substantially in the area of ​​adult education. John Dewey, an experiential learning theorist, emphasizes ‘experience as Art (Art as Experience)' life and the linkage of art in everyday life through and the 'new look ' in conjunction with the life. The drama parameters shown in a drama theatre "Saenalae" was the healing of wounds. Looking for others in collaborative learning experience of making work together and also to reflect on their appearance, who had been healed of his wound. And there was an ontological experience to find a real way out was done by the role of divorced women cleared of prejudice and discrimination in the social structure. Learning experiences through the divorce of events and activities were for the drama theatre to find a sense of identity and the implications for the lives of women who are divorced, by gaining homogeneous group learning experiences. This learning community experiences give implications in the field of women adult education.
