SEOUL JOURNAL OF ECONMICS is a quartery journal, publishing both theoretical and emprical articles inall fields of economics. SJE welcomes regular aricles, short essays and commentaries, and book reviews, especially those dealing with various aspects of the economies in asia. all submitted articles are subject to peer review by the editors and/or more anonymous referees. sje was initiated by institute of economic research, seoul national university in 1988. from 2000 on, sje is published under the co-sponsorship by the institute, korea money and finance association, korean labor economic association, and korea development economics association.
