ABSTRACT
This paper examined the analyzing the impact of public investment on economic growth and private investment in Vietnam. This study have provided quantitative investigation of the impact of types of public investment on economic growth and private investment. Detected results seem to be surprising and different from those of other researches and studies on this topic. In terms of contribution to GDP growth, public investment has shown crowding-in effect. In terms of contribution to private investment attraction, public investment has positive effect. The clearest evidence is that Public investment has positive impact on private investment.
