Abstract
This study is to design and operation management of ERP system for small manufacturing companies. It is to analysis manufacturing management problems that damage the productivity improvement, and to suggestion of the success introduction of ERP system.
The difficulty of introduction of ERP for small companies is reported to high expense, need to long-term education training, lack of worker to operate ERP, change the job frequently, and to the problem of CEO for information-oriented.
Therfore, the success point to introduce ERP system in small companies: First, constant efforts and concern of CEO and , need to education training program for worker of system operation. Second. the slim-procedure that the working-level staff conclude the decision making promptly. Third, partial system be developed and adopted timely. Fourth, the efficiency be secured by insurance of IT manpower. Fifth, simplify of the various information and offering the instant information. Finally, the improvement of real-time information and accuracy centralized by few operation manpower information input
In reflection of the success factor in study, it is developed and suggested for the design and operation method of ERP system for the small companies.
Main function of ERP system for small manufacturing companies is consisted of 5 components: (1) Human resource management system (2) Daily worksheet management (3) Customer management system (4) Manufacturing management system (5) Material management system.
The expectation effect of this study is to obtain the management efficiency by using tool of rationalized management as to operate ERP system easily in small companies' budget scale.
