This study is for small-medium sized manufacturing companies to improve their manufacturing competitiveness through productivity innovation on the whole and not as partial or individualistic approaches.
There are four elements in innovating productivity. They are improvement in productivity, stabilization of quality, cost reduction , and changes in consciousness. After surveying these four elements, the most important and pressing factors were keys in deciding which element should be the first to be innovated in productivity. In each proposed level of innovation contains detailed statements of improving and study cases.
Also, Self Audit Sheet was developed to assess current state productivity and causes of problems in manufacturing. Before promoting productivity innovation, this Self Audit Sheet is useful in finding out the main innovating approaches and results while checking the current company's productivity status.
This study is to help small-medium sized companies to ensure and improve their manufacturing competitiveness.
